Edit: changed the name (because I found out the name I chose before was shared with some random characters) and fixed some errors that were bugging me, I'm working on something MUCH better (hopefully) which should be out within a week, maybe

this is a character I made up called Zika (pronounced Zee-ka) who will be appearing in a webcomic I plan on making called Zika Chronicles, due to my crap drawing skills I wasn't able to make this quite how I wanted it, but you know how it is, mustn't grumble

was drawn partially with pencil and paper and partially with Flash 8

the character's backstory is as follows:

other lead character (me) creates a computer program which simulates a human brain, said simulation somehow merges with a soul and becomes conscious, I realize this and use a genetically engineered version of my own DNA to grow a body for her in a vat (don't ask where I get this stuff, I haven't really thought this thing through yet) Zika's mind is then moved from the computer into the organic brain within her body by some process which I haven't figured out yet and probably won't make any sense, and the rest of the comic will concern Zika learning about and dealing with the world with the help of her "father" (me)

birthday: depends on when I finish and post the first comic U^_^

one thing I almost forgot about:

a side effect of the genetic engineering process on her DNA is that her body produces a chemical compound which gives her superhuman strength, speed, and durability; imagine a cross between Sonic the Hedgehog and Hancock without the flying ability

you know, originally I thought the idea was pretty cool, but now that I'm posting it it just sounds stupid, eh, I'll try and go ahead with it anyway
